12 Things I’m Thankful For

Today on Thanksgiving I am thankful for 12 things! (There are more than 12, but I am going to list 12!)

  1. I am thankful that I had multiple jobs this summer that have allowed me to live a less stressful life this semester!
  2. I am thankful to have met so many great health care professionals through working.
  3. I am thankful to be in a 4 year nursing program.
  4. I am thankful to be doing well in said nursing program.
  5. I am more than thankful to be 1.5 years away from graduating!
  6. I am thankful that I have been blessed with such supportive family near my school.
  7. I am thankful to be able to spend time with my youngest cousins, they always make me smile.
  8. I am thankful to have made friends who care about me for just being me!
  9. I am thankful to have found a profession I love.
  10. I am thankful that I have a wonderful best friend in California and some in Indiana that have helped me plan a big surprise!
  11. I am thankful that I have a wonderful little brother (who is really not so little) who has helped me plan this surprise!
  12. I am most especially thankful that I was able to pull off the biggest surprise of my life! I was able to surprise both of my parents and come HOME for Thanksgiving.

I hope that this Thanksgiving finds you all well and comfortable at home! This was a premeditated post therefore the next post I put up will have pictures from my time at home. I’m eager to tell the story of leaving for home and coming back to school!

The Week Before Finals

Hey all!

It’s coming down to crunch time for me here in Indiana. My finals start on Wednesday, I have two this week and three in the upcoming week and a half. So you probably won’t be hearing much from me other than a few already typed up and ready to go posts!

I just wanted to share with you guys a couple of items my mom sent me that arrived yesterday.

She sent me a large and medium sized box. The medium was for me and the large was for my Aunt and her family.

My Aunt thought I was joking when I said the box was for her, but it was!

Here are some pictures of what was inside of my box.

A Princess and The Frog Rag Quilt!

Here’s the back!

Here are some pictures of my Aunt and the kids opening their box and looking at their surprises!

Two big Mary Engelbreit Christmas rag quilts!

As you can see, they went over very, very well!

My Aunt was very shocked and my cousin adored it!

My cousin Walker, as pictured above, rolled up in one of the blankets and said “It’s so soft!”

I think my mom did very well with these gifts!

Have a good day!

I’ll talk with y’all soon!
