Hi Kim, I was reading your post on the Woodland Sampler by the Frosted Pumpkin – the linen count of 28 is equal to 14 count Aida -= are you going over two threads? If you are only going over one thread then that makes it smaller than 14 count thread
LInen is done over two threads – which would equal the one that you would do on 14 count Aida -does that make any sense? Super easy. Youtube has videos on how to work over two on linen.

Thank your for the thorough explanation! I realized that after I had already finished most of January and I made an executive decision to continue stitching over 1 (even though it’s a pain!) I really love how small it is coming out! I think I like it being so small! I love tiny things anyways lol!
I’m not sure if there are repercussions to stitching over 1 however I plan on framing the sampler when I am done so I think it will go okay
