When I was at M&L I bought two yards of a lovely maroon-ish colored muslin. I thought I would make a cowl of some sort but with my days in California dwindling into the teens, I had to do something with it quick.
I looked up patterns on the web for a cowl and found a few easy ones, but I couldn’t bear to cut up the wonderful fabric I bought. As I was fingering the fabric I realized how warm it was and decided that a girl attending college in the midwest can never have enough warm winter scarves!
So I folded up the fabric (without cutting off any salvage!) and I evened my raw edges. Then I went ahead and sewed them together with a decorative stitch.
It was simple, and now I have a really, really warm scarf that I can use during the winner. I love how simple it is and I love how simple it was to make!
I hope you enjoyed it!
Have a good day!

It’s YOU! It’s YOUR color. xo
