Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park is my favorite movie! It wins over every other movie I’ve seen, I just can’t get enough of it!

So I decided it was a bout time for a Jurassic Park cross stitch since I’ve been stitching like crazy.

There is one line in the movie that EVERY fan of Jurassic Park knows, and here it is,

So I based my cross stitch off of the quote.
It’s meant to be a velociraptor, and yes, I do like the results! In fact, I’d venture to say that I love the results!
I hope y’all like it too!
Have a good day!

Tangled Pillow

I could NOT help myself, and I had to make another cross stitch pillow tonight.

I’m not sure many of you know that I’m absolutely in love with Disney! Well, I am! I was not sure about the movie Tangled when it first came out, but when I finally went and saw it, I fell in love!

The colors, the story, the music were all beautiful! Today when I was in JoAnn’s, I found that all Character prints were 40% off and there was a lovely Tangled fabric that I just needed.

Long story short, I made this pillow,

This is it as a whole!
This is the cross stitch, it’s one of the floating lanterns :)
This is the Tangled fabric!

Based off the lyrics of this song,

I hope you enjoyed!
There will be another post tomorrow with at least one pillow :)

Have a good day!

Chemistry Pillow

I could NOT decide what to do with the ‘Bottoms Up’ cross stitch, displayed in this post. It was too small for a frame of any sort, and it was too big to be a button or magnet.

So I decided that it must become a pillow!

Here are the results! I think it turned out rather well :)

I’m thinking about selling this on etsy, as well as making a few more to sell! Let me know what you think if you have an opinion on the matter.

Have a good day!

Cute, Not Geeky

I found a very cute design on the internet and decided I wanted it for myself! I however, did not want it in shades of pink, I wanted it a bit funkier than it’s original version.

I also decided that I had no use for the pattern and that I’d have to come up with a purpose for it. I wallowed about in despair, really wanting to do this stitch, and then it hit me, I can always use a few more pillows!

So I stitched the design and came up with this,

And I sewed it in a pillow which turned out like this,

It’s just a throw pillow, but I really like it. I was thinking of gifting it to someone, but I love it way too much to let it go!

I hope you all liked this project! If you aren’t very crafty, or you’d rather just buy this design already made, here is where I got the idea for the stitching from, http://www.etsy.com/people/graceandlight?ref=pr_profile
